More Details: Our theme was “simply beautiful.” The venue we chose was elegant but naturally gorgeous, inside and out. The outside ceremony space was overlooking the golf courses, garden, small waterfalls, and bridges. Our reception location was a second-floor, crescent shaped ballroom with a full-length terrace overlooking everything above as well. We kept the décor minimal and white, so the natural beauty of the whole entire venue could really pop.

All of our vendors were great. Everything came out near perfect, but my personal favorite was our videographer. He was great to work with, and our wedding highlight video was epic! We also really enjoyed our wedding coordinator. She made sure all of our vendors were on time and on schedule, that all our décor was exactly how we talked about, that all of our wedding party had everything and were where they needed to be at all times. Not once throughout the day did I have to think about anything pertaining to the wedding. All I had to do was get ready to make my way down the aisle.

Also, our photographer took such lovely, unbelievable photos that just captured our day so well! One of the most special things on our wedding day was having most of our family and friends traveling from states all across the country. It honestly was the best day of our lives by far, and we were just so happy to be able to share our love with everyone else we love.

My dress was by Madison James. First of all, I went to many different bridal shops, and I could not find anything that I felt was the right dress for me. When I walked into New York Bride & Groom of Raleigh — WOW! The place was gorgeous and they had such a huge selection. I liked a few of the dresses that I tried on, but when I tried on my dress, I felt like a true bride in it. I knew it was the one.
