For brides who prefer a specific time on the calendar, we now offer one-on-one personal appointments Tuesday through Friday. Book your slot and arrive knowing your consultant is ready and waiting — just for you.

- The Fee: Reserve your appointment for $50 — and when you say yes during your scheduled appointment, that fee goes directly toward your dress purchase. No extra cost to shop this way.

The Ultimate VIP Sunday Celebration.
Want to turn your shopping trip into a private party? Our exclusive Say Yes Experience allows you to reserve the store for a private event. You bring your entourage, and we provide the luxury.

Is there a charge to try on wedding dresses?
No — trying on gowns at New York Bride & Groom of Raleigh is free, with no browsing fee and no consultation fee. Our walk-in experience is free, always. If you would prefer to book a private appointment, current pricing is listed on our Appointments page.
How many guests can I bring wedding dress shopping?
Bring the people whose opinions matter most — our Raleigh salon does not limit how many guests you can bring. Three to five guests sit comfortably. On our busiest days seating can get tight, but we will always do our best to make everyone comfortable while you shop.
How long does a bridal appointment take?
Most brides spend about 90 minutes at our Raleigh salon, from the first gown to saying yes. With walk-in shopping there is no clock — we do not limit your time. Take as long as you need to find the right dress.
What should I wear and bring to try on wedding dresses?
Wear nude-tone undergarments and a strapless bra, and bring heels close to the height you will wear on your wedding day. Shoes at the right height give you the truest picture of how a gown will look and fall on the day. Skip heavy makeup and self-tanner so nothing transfers to the gowns — everything else you need is here in store.
Is it okay to go wedding dress shopping alone?
Yes — plenty of brides shop alone at our Raleigh salon, and you get the same experience whether you come by yourself or bring a crowd. We are ready and excited to celebrate you no matter your party size. Some brides already know what they want and would rather decide without a room full of opinions; others want everyone there.
